About this farm
Appalachian Cattle Company LLC is located in Blairsville, Georgia. Through selective breeding (i.e. embryo transplants, AI, and natural service), we have spent the better part of seven years developing a herd of registered polled Herefords and low line black Angus beef cattle that excel on grass. App Cat does not supplement their beef with any hormones or antibiotics. Our cattle are pastured on the lush grass of the North Georgia Mountains and supplemented with fescue hay that is harvested at the highest protein level and stored inside until time to feed to our herd.
