By accessing or using findfoodforhumans.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and farm operators who register listings.
Description of Service
Food for Humans operates an online directory that connects consumers with regenerative, pasture-raised, and sustainably operated farms and ranches across North America. The Site provides a searchable map-based interface, farm listing pages, and a registration system for farms to create and manage their directory profiles.
Farm Listings
Farms may register for a listing by completing the registration form and selecting a subscription plan. By submitting a listing, the farm operator represents that all information provided is accurate, current, and not misleading. Farm operators are responsible for keeping their listing information up to date.
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that contain inaccurate information, violate these terms, or do not meet our listing standards.
Subscriptions and Payments
Farm listings require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
If a subscription payment fails or is cancelled, the associated listing may be removed from public search results until payment is restored. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers connected to the Site
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any portion of the Site for commercial purposes without permission
Intellectual Property
The Site, including its design, layout, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Food for Humans and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Farm operators retain ownership of the content they submit (descriptions, images, etc.) but grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content as part of the directory.
Limitation of Liability
Food for Humans provides the Site and directory on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing information. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information displayed on the Site.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Food for Humans, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, your listing content, or your violation of these terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your listing at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
