About this farm

Aspen Ridge Farm is a small diversified family farm specializing in naturally grown, pasture-raised meat including chicken, pork, lamb, rose veal, and eggs. We provide unlimited pasture to all of our animals through daily rotational grazing. Our pastures are managed organically with no herbicide or pesticide applications, and fertilizers are in the form of manure and compost produced on farm. We use no growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics. In addition to their foraging, we supplement the diets of our chickens and pigs with an organically grown, soy- and GMO-free grain ration that is grown and milled locally, as well as raw milk produced on farm. Lamb and veal is 100% grass fed/finished. 2017 Broilers will be available starting at the end of May through November. Eggs are available year round. Individually packaged cuts of pork are generally available year round, and a limited number of whole and half pigs are available in the spring and fall. Individually packaged cuts of lamb are available mid-summer and fall. We offer a limited number of whole lambs available for sale each fall. In addition, we frequently have wool pelts, home spun yarns, wool batts, and raw wool produced from our flock. Our 2017 meat and egg CSA begins in May and ends in November. CSA members have the option to pick-up shares on farm or in Blairstown, NJ; Madison, NJ; or Stroudsburg, PA. Base shares include eggs and whole chicken broilers, with the option of pork, sausage, lamb and/or veal add-ons. For full share details, please visit our website.
