About this farm
Buck Run Farm is located in the hills of Chester County, 6 miles south of Coatesville. We are a grass and beef farm. We sell cattle for freezer beef and our premium retail products, Dr. Elkins' Angusburger and Bullybeef, which is ground sirloin frozen in one-pound Cryovac packages. All cuts except the tenderloins go into these premium products. Angusburger is made from Angus steers raised from birth on our own pastures. The animals are not treated with hormones or antibiotics. We had our beef tested in Dr. Dhiman's lab at Utah State. It is consistently high in Omega-3 fatty acids and CLA. Manuscript available in Microsoft Word by e-mail.
