Deer Run Acres welcomes you to our family farm in Edinboro, PA, just a few short miles from the New York state line. As a farm that uses regenerative agricultural methods, we manage our animals as part of the greater ecosystem around us. We try to be good stewards by treating our cattle, pigs and chickens in a respectful and responsible manner, and by working with natural cycles to give our herds the best forage, water, and living environment. Our animals are raised exclusively on pasture (with access to shelter during bad weather), just as cattle and pigs have been raised throughout history. Our Beef is: Pasture-raised from birth 100% Grass Fed USDA Certified Never fed antibiotics or hormones or treated with pesticides Irish Dexter beef, rated #1 among grass fed steaks USDA Choice and Select steaks (nonofficial grading) Our Pork is: Pasture-raised from birth Fed with grass and local grains Never fed antibiotics or hormones or treated with pesticides Taste the pasture-raised difference!
