About this farm

Dowdle Family Farms is a family-owned and operated farm located just outside Columbus, MS in Lowndes County. We grow nutrient-dense, healthy food for our family and yours. We use regenerative practices to grow our produce and raise our protein products. We sell eggs from our pastured, free-range hens. Their diet is composed of all-natural grasses and plants, and supplemented with fermented and sprouted grains for nutrient retention and digestive health. We also provide them a layer feed. You may find cheaper eggs, but you won’t find better, higher quality eggs. We also sell pasture-raised chicken, and are transitioning to raise grass fed and finished beef, and pastured/forested hogs. Our livestock are raised with the same care and commitment that we provide for our laying hens and produce. We also grow a range of vegetables including cool season veggies (broccoli, carrots, salad greens, etc.) and summer vegetables (tomatoes, squashes, peppers, etc.).
