Hearst Ranch Beef. Since 1865, the Hearst family has raised cattle on the rich sustainable native grasslands of the Central California Coast. Hearst cattle are grass-fed and grass-finished and humanely raised. Our animals are not given growth hormones or antibiotics ever. The result is sustainably produced grass-fed beef that is as memorable and natural as the surrounding landscape. Order our grass-fed, free range beef from our website or at the Hearst Castle Visitor's Center in San Simeon. All orders are shipped overnight. We are Food Alliance certified for sustainable practices and we are certified as a humane producer by Humane Farm Animal Care.
