About this farm
Highway H Highland Cattle Ranch supplies the highest quality grass fed Highland beef to conscientious consumers. They are raised on our farm in northern Laclede County Missouri and are never fed any antibiotics, hormones, steroids, animal byproducts, or GMOs. Highlanders are a heritage breed of cattle that have not been altered genetically, and as such, they produce a premium quality beef that is naturally lower in fat and cholesterol and higher in protein than other meats, and it is also high in Omega 3's, making it an ideal choice for those who follow Paleo. They have an outer coat of hair to keep them warm and dry and a thicker hide that reduces the need to put on a layer of fat to help them stay warm. The best part about Highland beef is it's superior taste and tenderness. Our animals take a minimum of 24 months to mature to perfection, and we have them processed at a small family-owned state inspected processing plant in central Missouri. We sell superior ground beef in one pound packages, delicious and tender steaks, as well as mouth watering roasts, and we sell by the individual cut, or bulk packages.
