The Little Seven Seven Ranch is committed to raising unrivaled beef on our family owned and managed mountainside ranch. L77 beef is USDA inspected, allowing us to welcome both large and small orders. We raise Highland Cattle, a slow growing heritage breed known for superior flavor and tenderness. Our cattle browse 1700 acres in the Columbia River Gorge, enjoying a biodiverse diet of perennial native grasses and brush. Fields, forest, rocks and hills allow this ancient and hardy breed to live the lifestyle for which they were bred. Highland beef is higher in iron, protein and Omega 3s than commercial beef. Highland beef is lower in fat and cholesterol than commercial beef. The L77 is dedicated to all natural practices best suited for our cattle and the land which supports them. Many of our customers enjoy coming to The Gorge and seeing the impressive Highland Cattle in the fields and forests, visible from the public roads. Customers may purchase L77 beef directly from the ranch (call to arrange pick up or discuss delivery of larger orders) and through Local Milk Run www.localmilkrun.com.
