At Longbottom Farm, we specialize in grass-fed beef, pastured pork, pastured poultry, and free-range eggs. We are located just 25 minutes south of Charlottesville in Scottsville VA. Knowing where the food we eat comes from is important to us. Like you, we wanted to know how the food we ate was produced, what chemicals were used, and how the animals were treated. The answer isn’t readily available unless you know your farmer. This is what sets Longbottom Farm apart. Reconnecting people with the food we eat to the land and animals that produce it—something that's lost among today’s current supermarket offerings. We are raising healthy animals that are allowed to express their normal behaviors. They rotate through lush pastures, replenishing the land by using management techniques that mimic natural cycles. Following nature’s lead and working with nature instead of against it. That’s what Longbottom Farm is all about and why we love what we do!
