About this farm
Menagerie Farms, located 50 miles west of Toledo, Ohio, offers grassfed beef, pork, poultry, eggs and lamb. Our cattle are pastured on OCIA-certified organic land, utilizing marginal ground that it too hilly (erodable) for crop farming. Thus our cattle-grass combo actually conserves and builds topsoil that would be degraded and washed away under grain farming. While the cattle themselves are not certified organic, we administer no drugs or hormones. Our chickens likewise are on organic grass, supplemented with organic grains, and are drug and hormone-free. Beef is sold summer and fall by the side, split-side, or canned. Chicken is available summer and fall; eggs year-round. Delivery is available. Customers are invited to see our farm, woods and wetlands. We are close to US Rt. 80–90, Sauder Village, Goll Woods State Park, and Harrison Lake.
