About this farm
Mesteño Draw Cattle Co. produces beef for direct sales to customers. We sell halves, quarters and 20–22 lb variety packs. We provide pick up points of the cut and frozen beef in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Moriarty and Mountainair. Shipping to other locations can be arranged. The beef is usually available from November through January. Our cattle are raised on the natural grasses of the short grass prairie. They graze in a managed system designed to promote rangeland and riparian health. The young cattle are harvested at 7 to 9 months and the meat is dry-aged for 14–21 days. The resulting beef is tender, lean and delicious. Many of our customers rave that it is the best beef they have ever tasted.
