About this farm
Micks Gourmet Chicks is located in the northern most section of Lancaster County near the town of Reinholds, PA. The farm consists of 50 acres of pastures and woodlands that have never had any chemicals applied for any purpose. The water is from spring fed ponds. All poultry is fed an organic ration prepared from locally grown grain and Fertell organic mineral products and additives. The birds are raised on pasture in bottomless cages which are moved every day as prescribed by the Joel Salatin method. We will have available Peking ducks, Cornish broilers, French Label Rouge style chickens, and turkeys. Our birds are professionally processed in New Holland, PA. We raise birds on a custom order basis, i.e., we pre-sell to you. Orders should be placed 60 days prior to pick up and turkeys by July 1. As a service we offer cutting up and blast freezing in cryovac bags.
