About this farm
Mountain View Longhorns is a small, all-natural, organic, non-GMO, antibiotic- and implant-free Texas Longhorn beef ranch in the rolling hills near the center of PA. We are a totally grass operation and we use no grains, no chemicals, and no sprays at all. We produce our own calves in a stress-free environment. Currently we have one ITLA Futurity Bull and a about a dozen Texas Longhorn cows. We usually process our meat when the calves are around 20 months of age. This produces a great young and tender beef. Our beef is processed by an approved USDA butcher shop and our packaging comes with the USDA stamp. If we are contacted ahead of time, we can provide all the cuts you want for your order. Otherwise, we do mostly ground burger, hamburger patties, and roasts. Texas Longhorn meat on average contains less than 10% fat, making it very lean and high in protein. Longhorn beef is the healthiest red meat. If interested, contact us to get on our customer list to pre-order before processing.
