New Folk Commerce

About this farm

New Folk Commerce (a small family farm) has been providing raw milk through a herd share program to the Blacksburg and Floyd areas for over three years. The milk comes from a small herd of Jersey cattle. The cows are hand-milked and the milk is delivered-full cream, in glass half gallon jars. The cows are pastured on a rotational system and receive small portions (2-5 pounds per day per cow) of organic soy-free grain during milking times. New Folk Commerce is currently adding members for their Blacksburg and Floyd deliveries, and will soon add a Roanoke weekly delivery. Pastured pork is also available. The hogs are raised outdoors in a natural environment and fed a supplemental ration of 100% NON-GMO feed. Farmers Markets: Pork is available at Grandin Market, 4th Saturday of every month, 8am–noon; and Blacksburg Farmers Market starting in July, 8am-noon.
