About this farm

Skelton Farms is located in Edinboro PA, in the northwestern corner of the state. It is is an easy 2-hour drive to Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Buffalo, NY, and is 20 minutes south of Erie, PA. We are third generation farmers and have been on our Edinboro farm since 1945. We have been raising Piedmontese beef cattle since the early 1990s. Our beef has been raised 100% grass fed since 1995. All of our cattle eat mixed grass pasture and orchard grass hay produced on our farm year-round. Our grass-fed beef is is beyond organic, and exceptionally delicious! Recently we added pastured, organic soy-free eggs and chicken. Eggs are available for pick up at the farm. Chicken must be ordered in advance and is seasonal, spring through fall. All of our livestock are treated gently and humanely and are given ample room, beyond-organic certification requirements. All have constant access to the large outdoor pastures through multiple doors. Chickens are locked in a spacious barn at night for their protection.
