About this farm

The Spas Farm is a third-generation, family-run farm, owned and operated by Paul and Connie Spas, overlooking historic Chautauqua Lake, NY. We have sought out and assembled a herd of Red Devon Cattle from all over the U.S. The ancient Red Devon breed has been noted for centuries for its fine-textured, well-marbled, flavorful, tender beef. Red Devon cattle grow and prosper extremely well on forage and mineral diet only. Our cattle meet all the production standards listed on this website. We combine top-rated cattle genetics and skilled pasture management (management-intensive grazing) resulting in a natural grass-fed, gourmet beef that we are proud to offer. Our beef is available June thru November in halves, quarters or a 50-pound box of assorted cuts. Most customers pick up their orders at our USDA-inspected processor or special arrangements can be made for out-of-town customers. We now have beef cuts by the piece in our farm store.
