About this farm
The Blended Homestead is a family-run farm that operates in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, just minutes from Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV. We raise our pastured chickens in chicken tractors that are moved daily. They are fed non-GMO rations as well as being able to eat grass. Our chickens are processed at a USDA poultry processing facility. We also sell free-range eggs. We also raise pigs that are rotational grazed as well. We raise heritage breeds of pork. The entire set up of our pigs are moved every two weeks. This helps our pastures to be disturbed minimally, which promotes new growth. Our pork is sold to customers at local farmers markets, online, and on farm. We encourage you to check out our Facebook Page, which we update regularly.
