About this farm
Zfarms is a family farm located in Dutchess county in Dover Plains, NY. We are certified organic, certified grass fed by NOFA-NY, and located less than a two-hour drive from New York City. We raise we raise Devon cows, Katahdin sheep and Kiko goats on the green pastures utilizing rotational grazing method. Agriculture that is productive yet replenishing and regenerative to the soil and natural environment is our primary goal. Our diversified operations also include certified organic pasture-raised poultry—chickens, ducks and turkeys, chicken and duck eggs, and a berry patch with raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. The Ecklunds processing facility where the animals are humanely slaughtered is certified organic by NOFA-NY and is located a short 1-hour drive from the farm. The farmstand with the retail cuts of beef, lamb, goat meat, poultry meats and eggs, as well as seasonal berries (June through November) is located at the farm and is open 7 days a week. We can deliver within an 80-mile radius of the farm.
