About this farm

C4 Farms specializes in nutrient dense and delicious grass fed meats and milk. We offer 100% grass fed, grass finished beef and lamb. We also have a small herd of 100% grass fed jersey cows that are milked by hand. C4 has been raising beef cattle for four generations and in the more recent past incorporated sheep and jersey milk cows to help our ranches become more sustainable. We are located in the heart of cattle country in west central Missouri, halfway between Kansas City and Springfield. The 100% grass fed, grass finished meats are available in wholes, halves or split sides (lambs available in wholes and halves only). We sell our delicious grass fed meats year around on a first come, first served basis followed by a waiting list. Some local delivery is available, but most meat sales will have to be picked up at the meat store. Our grass fed and raw products are not only healthy for our consumers, but are healing the land they are raised on as well. We use a management approach known as holistic management. When holistic management is implemented properly it heals the soil, plants, the animals that graze those plants and finally our consumers! This ensures the most nutrient dense grass possible to our livestock, and the most healthful, nutrient dense, delicious, grass fed meats to our consumers! Our animals are never in confinement, never fed grain of any kind, never given any antibiotics, dewormer, vaccinations, hormones or steroids of any kind. C4 cows, calves, sheep and lambs roam free with the other C4 inhabitants, whitetail deer, turkey and quail. We want you to know that we are your source for “Better Than Organic” meat and milk!
