Casey Redtail Ranch

About this farm

The Casey family ranching tradition on the central coast of California spans more than a century of land and livestock stewardship. As a young Irish emigrant, Jeremiah Casey arrived in Southern Monterey County in 1861 and started homesteading and ranching. He raised beef and finished them on grass and marketed them as best he could, given the limited resources of the day. We continue the same style of beef husbandry today. Cattle are raised in a natural, free range environment, in beautiful southern Monterey County, California. They are never given growth hormones, antibiotics or subjected to pesticides or herbicides. They are never fed grain and are always humanely treated.
