About this farm

Good Tree Farm of New Egypt is a community initiated organic CSA farm producing a wide variety of vegetables, field fruit, herbs and medicinal plants in a sustainable organic farming approach. We also raise pasture-fed organically handled sheep and goat for the meat market. Our cage-free, free-range poultry operation is starting in spring/summer 2009 and will be providing cage-free/free-range meat chickens and eggs. Our organic certification is coming at the end of March 2009 from the NJ Department of Agriculture, and we are applying for to be certified humane in the near future. We are a certified farm vendor in the NJ State Farmers Market Nutrition Program and we can accept the state issued checks and vouchers for purchase of farm fresh fruits and vegetables by Seniors and WIC participants. We sell from the farm, and we have drop-off locations. We also sell at senior centers and senior housing developments in Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington and Middlesex counties.
