Hedgeapple Farm offers natural, grass-finished Angus beef year-round through their on-farm market. Beef is available by individual cut. Quality carcasses result from careful genetic selection, nutrition, and caring animal management. All animals are born and raised on the farm. No growth implants used or antibiotics fed. All animals are raised in conditions and using practices recommended by the American Humane Association and under the national animal care guidelines. Hedgeapple Farm is part of the Jorgensen Family Foundation, a tax-exempt beef research and education foundation, operated for the benefit of Maryland Beef Producers. The farm is located within the quaint Federal Historic District of Buckeystown. The farm lies along the west bank of the Monocacy River and is fully established in grass. The farm prides itself in using innovative water and soil conservation and land stewardship practices. Visitors are always welcome! Market hours vary so please visit the website.
