About this farm
Meadow Creek Dairy practices management intensive grazing with their herd of Jersey cows. They use no herbicides or pesticides on their land. Our only crop is grass. We are therefore able to provide excellent nutrition for our herd while improving the health and fertility of our land. The cows' diet consists of perennial grasses supplemented with some grain, salt, and Norwegian kelp. Meadow Creek Dairy is a licensed, inspected cheese plant. Their cheeses include Appalachian jack, double-aged jack, and Meadow Creek feta.
