At Mockingbird Farm, we raise chemical-free pastured heritage breed pork, poultry and beef. In addition to whole and half pigs butchered to your specifications, we have individual cuts available, such as bone-in pork loin chops, shoulder and fresh ham roasts, fresh ham steaks, ribs and fresh belly. We supplement poultry and pork with soy-free certified organic feed from our local feed mill. Our beef is fed only grass, hay when needed, and organic alfalfa pellets. From time to time, we offer weaned piglets if you’d like to raise your own. We leave our piglets nursing with their mothers as long as mamas allow, and they are pastured and provided organic, soy-free feed, so we've started them off right for you. Also, be sure to ask us about yard pigs! We believe all animals deserve to be treated with respect In addition to the basics, our animals receive kindness and attention, because happy animals make happy meat. We keep them stress-free and they are processed humanely in a USDA-inspected facility that is close to home.
