Mother Earth Farm

About this farm

Mother Earth Farm, located about an hour east of Pittsburgh, is a small-scale vegetable, berry, and chicken farm. All of our chickens are raised with care from start to finish in an environment that allows them to simply "be chickens." They are raised on pasture at the farm in a movable pen which allows them to forage on fresh grass and enjoy the sunshine. Their diet consists of grain, whatever they forage, and all the organic vegetables that don't make it into our C.S.A. The chickens are processed and packaged by us on site, by hand, as humanely as possible.
