Over The Grass Farm is a 450 acre diversified farm located near The Plains, VA, about one hour west of Washington DC. We believe that healthy food comes from healthy soils and happy animals. OTGF offers: Garden Produce year round production from our gardens, orchard, and greenhouses. Grass finished Beef & Lamb. Beef is dry aged and available by the ½ or ¼ steer or individual cut. Lamb available by the whole or ½ lamb or individual cut. No grain, hormones, or antibiotics. Our meat is processed at a small, USDA inspected facility in Fauquier Co. Frozen and vacuum packed. Raw Milk through our Cow Share program. We are a grass-based Jersey dairy. Eggs. Fresh brown eggs from hens that are allowed plenty of access to the outdoors. They have are on green pasture during the growing season. Honey, Homemade Jams and Jellies, Wool and Yarn. We market all of our products directly from the farm, either self serve or our on farm store. In addition, we work with several local retailers that carry our products. We will be at several farmer’s markets in the Northern VA area.
