About this farm

PlayHaven Farm LLC is east of Kansas City, MO, a few miles north of I–70. A sustainable farm, I welcome new client-friends! My website abounds with information about the farm and this journey into the world of healthy food (and sustainable building). I do not ship food products at this time and would LOVE to have you come visit us at the farm to enjoy a little nature. I will ship some non-food items for sale via the website. As a person with multiple food sensitivities, I am dedicated to providing food that people like me can eat without fear: Grass-fed/finished Belted Galloway beef, retail from the farm and Cowpooled. (You buy a share in a whole, half, or split-half live beef. It is processed at a humane USDA facility where you pick up your meat.) Organ meat and bones are available retail only. Aroniaberries, Blackberries, Elderberries, Paw Paws, Persimmons, Rhubarb, Strawberries, Comfrey, and Osage Oranges (Hedge Apples) are available IN SEASON (weather, et al. allowing); dates are listed on the website. Raw Honey is harvested late summer and is available in 4-pound, 2-pound, and 1-pound glass jars and 12-ounce, BPA-free, plastic inverted squeeze bottles. Ask about other bee products (like propolis and beeswax) and getting started with your own hive. All raised in sustainable ways without the ‘icides’ (insecticides, pesticides, herbicides).
