About this farm
Schneider Organics: Our heritage breed Dutch Belted beef cattle are raised on our family farm from birth until slaughter. We use permaculture practices to properly care for the land our Lord has entrusted to us. We are truly natural and do not dehorn or castrate our animals. Calves nurse their mothers for 10 months. Our winter feed is harvested from our pastures, which are no longer plowed but allowed to grow native forages. We feed no corn or soy and use no supplements except sea salt. We never use GMOs, hormones, pesticides, insecticides, or any other prohibited substances or practices. We take seriously our commitment to the care of our world for future generations.
