Thunderbasin Land & Livestock is a family-owned and operated ranch located on the high plains of southeastern Wyoming. We are USDA Certified Organic, and have employed organic practices continuously since 1987. We offer only healthy, safe, and delicious lean beef that was raised using ecologically sustainable growing practices. At Thunderbasin Land & Livestock, our cattle are treated humanely and receive no antibiotics, hormones or pour-on insecticides. Much like the patterns of wildlife, our calves are born in the warmth of Spring and are not corralled or penned. They never see a feedlot and are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, providing you with all the health benefits documented from grass fed beef. Our holistic ranch management practices create healthy riparian zones and prairie, resulting in an abundance of native plants and wildlife on the ranch. Thunderbasin beef is processed at a USDA inspected plant and can be purchased in whole, halves, and quarters. We also offer convenient combination packages and gift baskets. The beef is available for pickup at the ranch or can be shipped outside the local area.
